The Easy Arm and G-Force intelligent lifting devices (ILDs) from Gorbel Inc. (Fishers, NY) use exclusive patented technology and an industrial processor-controlled servo drive system to enable operators to lift and maneuver naturally, as if the devices were an extension of their arms. The Easy-Arm lifting arm pairs the G-force with an articulating jib to provide an all-around solution.
Both units are now available with two control options. The Q2 base model comes with programming features that handle most applications. For more complex operations, the iQ2 has additional input/output (I/O) points at the handle and in the actuator to provide even more configuration options. They’re both more user- friendly and provide more options than the company’s previous offering:
- Users no longer need to rely on the handle menu to program their G-Force or Easy Arm. Computer-based visualization is standard so users can configure their unit from a PC or tablet.
- The Q2’s more-customizable handle-based I/O options tackle a wider range of applications.
- User-configurable I/O points on the iQ2 minimize the need for costly custom programming.
- Although Ethernet and USB cables are still available, built-in wireless connectivity enables users to service and troubleshoot units without the need for Ethernet or USB.
- Handle and visualization user interfaces available in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
- G-Link Smart Connect enables G-Force and Easy Arm to transmit data locally or anywhere with internet access, allowing users to set parameters and view vital data remotely from their desktop, laptop, or tablet.
