Produce Complex Geometries with Single-Process 3D Cutting System

BLM Group’s LT360 laser cutting system provides 6-axis cutting flexibility that’s fast and easy to program. Its capacitive height sensing feature gives you freedom to truly cut any 3D piece at 360 degrees.

The LT360 comes with BLM Group’s user-friendly software interface and Active Tools, patented solutions that automatically adapt process parameters for optimal results independent of operator experience.

You can eliminate secondary cutting, drilling, punching, milling or deburring operations with the LT360 all-in-one 3D cutting system from BLM Group USA (Novi, MI). It features a fiber laser cutting head mounted on a 6-axis robot that works in tandem with a part handling robot to produce the most complex geometries in any 3-dimensional piece within a single process.

Configurable and compact, the LT360 has the ability to process curved, hydroformed, preformed, or pre-welded tubes as well as flat and/or stamped sheets in mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, copper and brass. This all-in-one technology delivers a low cost per part, super-fast programming, ease of use, and unlimited feasibility.

Available with a 2 kW or 3 kW fiber laser source, the cutting head features capacitive height sensing that allows maximum freedom for cutting any three-dimensional profile in space to truly cut at 360° with an accuracy of ±0.15 mm (.006”) and a repeatability of ±0.05 mm (.002”).

The working table’s work area is 1500 x 1000 mm – but for increased productivity, a 20-kg capacity handling robot and part holding table can be integrated. The fixed worktable is equipped with an integrated laser slat, removable scrap collection tank and fume extraction connection. The part holder table includes magnetic supports, allowing for maximum freedom in positioning the workpiece during loading and unloading. It also has an innovative fixturing system that is quick and easy to setup and avoids the need to create dedicated tooling for each part.

The LT360 is offered in three different configurations to best fit your needs. All versions offer easy accessibility for maintenance, cleaning, inspection and workpiece loading and unloading.

As with all BLM lasertube systems, the LT360 comes with BLM Group’s user-friendly software interface and Active Tools, patented solutions that automatically adapt process parameters for optimal results independent of operator experience.
