Kwik Mark Inc. (McHenry, IL) X Series markers improve overall operation and streamline every aspect of product marking. The smarter design boasts high performance for the most demanding applications.

The cantilevered marking head provides a clear open line of sight and  retracts to clear other tooling and equipment. Up to 6 axes are motion control-ready and no PC or control box is required. Additional I/O is available for custom integration with logic.

This dot peen marker features machine tool-quality construction with twin rigid upright column leadscrew and ball slide design, brushless servomotors and noncontact limit home sensors, and a large t-slot table for fixturing. The X-12 Model has a 12-inch-by-6-inch marking area; the X-24 Model has a 24-inch-by-6-inch marking area. They have a 12-inch height capacity, and are available with programmable Z axis (full column height).

File-based solution with patented iTeach function allows you to use the marking tip as a “pointer” to define the text path. Embedded controls feature CF card memory with preprogrammed functions, job selection or data input and bar code input ready. Machines are future-upgradable and field-rebuildable.
