Anver Corp. (Hudson, MA) custom-built vacuum lifters include this mill-duty model for handling plates measuring 48 feet by 8 feet (14.5 meters by 2.4 meters) without damaging the surface.
Instead of magnets, grabs, and hooks, 12 rectangular suction pads attach to steel, stainless steel, alloys, and aluminum. Only rubber touches the load surface.
Powered by a 460, 3-phase electric vacuum pump, the crane-suspended unit lifts 30,000 pounds (13,608 kg). All-welded steel frame has six adjustable cross arms and built-in parking stands. Standard features include vacuum gauges, check valves, reservoir and manifolds, audio/visual safety indicators, and integrated pendant controls.
