Emco’s redesigned Hyperturn 45 G3 is a functional and visual upgrade. The work area is highlighted in color and shape; the operating panel features homogeneous aluminium surfaces, ergonomically adjustable controls, and an intuitive user interface.
Two Hyperturn 45 G3 models – Turn/Mill-Assist Essential and Turn/Mill-Assist 200/270 – offer a wide range of robot payloads for automated loading and unloading. According to Emco, Turn/Mill-Assist increases profits by reducing working hours by up to 70%.
Emco’s user-friendly control unit with EMConnect enables inexperienced operators to quickly begin producing parts.
This Emco Hyperturn 45 G3 model is equipped with two servo-controlled stacking tables capable of stacking larger quantities of blanks and machined parts.

Featuring a sleek new design and beginner-friendly control, the flexible Hyperturn 45 G3 from Emco Corp. (Wixom, MI) increases profitability by increasing efficiency with two standardized automatic loading/unloading options.

The redesigned base and slide geometry enlarge the working space and accommodate a wider turret clearance to allow integration of a 16-station tool turret and a larger Y-axis stroke of +/- 40 mm. The machine remains compact, however, with a 72-degree slant bed that supports ergonomic requirements and optimal chip flow.

Spindle distance is increased to 760 mm for collision-free processing with two turrets. The expanded working space provides room to integrate BMT turrets in 12x or 16x versions. The water-cooled direct drive has 8 kW of power; it drills and mills at up to 12,000 rpm and offers 20 Nm of torque. The stable BMT interface ensures long tool life. Overall, it gives the user more possibilities in terms of workpiece processing or increasing productivity.

EMConnect digital process assistant integrates customer- and system-specific applications for controlling the machine and production flow. Each model for automatic loading and unloading – Turn/Mill-Assist Essential and Turn/Mill-Assist 200/270 – offers a wide range of robot payloads, options, and modular expansions. Highlights:

Flexible
• Unique gripper design
• Different gripper types
