Combination Torch and Cutting System Keeps Operators Safe

ESAB’s Victor brand introduces the Medalist Classic Outfit for oxy-fuel cutting and welding. Its handle is time-tested for safety, and its G350 regulator lets operators use more gas in the cylinder without sacrificing cutting or welding performance.

The Victor Medalist 350 Classic Outfit for heavy-duty cutting features a traditional handle design and the new G350 regulator with 25% larger gauges.

Medalist 350 Classic Outfit for heavy-duty cutting and welding features a combination torch and cutting attachment, and Victor (Annapolis Junction, MD), an ESAB brand, included its traditional handle design, as well as the new G350 acetylene and oxygen regulators. The outfit also includes a #2 welding attachment, gas hoses, safety goggles and striker.

“The CA 370 handle features Victor’s time-proven handle design with built-in check valves and flashback arrestors, giving users added confidence that their tools aren’t just safe — they’re Victor safe,” says John Henderson, senior director, Industrial Gas Products, ESAB. “The WH 370 cutting attachment features Victor’s classic spiral mixer, which enables using one attachment for all fuels to cut steel up to 6 inches just by selecting the correct cutting tip.”

The G350 regulator now has 25% larger gauges — they measure 2-1/2 inches — and have a high-contrast gauge face that makes it easier to confirm settings from a distance. The G350 offers the best flow performance of any heavy-duty regulator in its class. It better maintains flow rates as cylinder pressures decay, enabling operators to use more of the gas in the cylinder without sacrificing cutting or welding performance.
