The ShopJet from Koike Aronson Ransome (Arcade, NY) uses the same foundational tabletop design as the company’s ShopPro plasma/oxy-fuel cutting machine. Equipped with FlashCut Pro CAD/CAM/CNC software, KMT Waterjet Systems ultrahigh-pressure pump, and H2O Jet Integral Diamond Eductor (IDE) cutting head, the affordable waterjet cutter cuts ferrous and non-ferrous metals up to 2 inches thick with 0.0015-inch repeatability.
The ShopJet has a smaller footprint than other machines in its class, enabling it to fit into shops of all sizes. Three models – the SJ-44, SJ-48, and SJ-510 – are 79, 127, and 151 inches wide, respectively; and 71, 71, and 83 inches long. Cutting areas are 4 feet by 4 feet, 4 feet by 8 feet, and 5 feet by 10 feet. Direct-drive rack-and-pinion system provides traverse speed of 750 inches per minute (IPM).
Made in the U.S., the machine comes with a two-year warranty and free phone support for life.
