Weighing 140 pounds and providing 145x magnification, the 140-pound Vue optical measuring system from Omega Tool Measuring Machines is durable enough for everyday shop use.

The Vue and Vue Lite from Omega Tool Measuring Machines Inc. (Fairport, NY) are simple but robust optical measuring machines for inspecting cutting tools. The Vue Lite provides 95X magnification; the Vue, up to 145X. Both provide a measuring range of 75 mm (vertical) and 200 mm (horizontal and weigh 140 pounds. Features and capabilities include:

Ball nose
Radii inspection using edge detection
Step reamer
.DXF file overlay
Rake angle inspection using scales
Helical angle and land width 0.0030 tool getting measurements plotting with points
Angle measurements plotting with points
