Automation for All: Kawasaki Robotics

There is a false narrative that automation is only for large-scale manufacturers, when in fact today’s robotic solutions can be implemented by companies of any size.

Booth B17048: The RS013N is Kawasaki’s newest general purpose robot model, offering a 13kg payload capacity, a wide working range, small footprint and IP67-classified design.

Small to mid-size manufacturers can use automation as a means to stay competitive, increase efficiency and foster growth.

At FABTECH, in Booth B17048, Kawasaki Robotics (USA), Inc. (Wixom, MI) will demonstrate this by showcasing a range of automation solutions:

  • NEW PRODUCT, the RS013N: Kawasaki’s newest general purpose robot model offers a 13kg payload capacity, a wide working range, small footprint and IP67-classified design.
  • Ready-to-weld cell: This cost-effective, customizable, pre-engineered robotic welding cell for medium-sized parts will be welding T-Joints LIVE using a Kawasaki BA006N arc welding robot.
  • Paint cell: See Kawasaki’s KJ155 explosion-proof paint robot in action. This model features a 3R (Roll, Roll, Roll) hollow wrist with inner diameter of 70 mm to accommodate hoses, as well as a slim and lightweight body with a wide motion range.
  • Large-scale welding and polishing: Using offline programming and seam tracking, a Kawasaki BA006L robot will simulate arc welding on a part manipulated by a Kawasaki MX700N positioner. In the same cell, a Kawasaki material handling robot will process the welded part using a deburring spindle.

Why Kawasaki? We talked to our staff, integrators and customers and they all said the same thing. There are multiple worthy robotics options out there, but Kawasaki is the company that treats you like a human, cares about your business and answers the phone when you call. With 50 years of experience and thousands of robots installed worldwide, Kawasaki is an automation partner you can trust.

Make no mistake about it. Kawasaki is robotics. But at the same time, we are not robots.
