Trilogy Machinery Introduces New Synergy Plate Bending Rolls

SYNERGY is a reference to the collaborative effort between both the manufacturer and the team at Trilogy Machinery, which together have nearly a century of experience with bending rolls. While SWEBEND is known worldwide as the leader in bending roll technology and customization for the most demanding applications, SYNERGY will incorporate the most desirable functions, features and top-quality components at a price-point that enables small to intermediate size fabricators and job shops to afford a quality, reliable plate bending roll. SYNERGY plate bending rolls are designed using parametric 3D CAD technology as well as implementing static and mechanical analysis for load detection and stress relief of the frame components. Standard features include induction hardened bending rolls, conical bending device, spherical roller bearings in all roll journals, rolling operators console with a PLC control by Panasonic, hydraulic design using planetary gear boxes and much more.
SYNERGY plate bending rolls are offered in a wide range of standard sizes with both 3-roll double pinch and 4-roll designs and with lengths from 4 feet-to-16 feet with capacities ranging from 3/16” thick to 4” thick. Accuracy and parallelism of the pinch and bending roll positions are monitored by an electronic balancing system that guarantees accurate position repeatability. In addition, automatic speed compensation for the roll rotation ensures the optimum distribution of torque. In addition to the outstanding standard features, optional enhancements like hydraulic side and overhead plate supports, automatic lubrication, oil coolers or warmers, and more are available.
