AIDA-America Hires Several New Employees

Metal stamping press manufacturer AIDA-America continues to expand in the areas of assembly and welding and customer service engineers, among others.

AIDA-America, metal stamping press manufacturer in Dayton, OH, USA, continues to expand and has recently hired in the areas of Assembly and Welding, along with three Customer Service Engineers, in addition to the following new associates.

David Tierney recently transferred from AIDA Engineering in Japan and is now serving as International Project Manager, based at AIDA-America’s new Austin, TX office. He joined AIDA 13 years ago. David has previously worked in the Tool & Die Division for AIDA Engineering and as a Project Manager for AIDA UK, working with OEM’s and Tier 1 Manufacturers. He now focuses on OEM project management within North America, utilizing his extensive international and large project management experience to ensure customer satisfaction.

Kozo Abiru has joined David at AIDA-America’s new Austin, TX office as Project Manager. He has been with AIDA for six years and has previously worked in the Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Domestic Sales Divisions for AIDA Engineering in Japan. Kozo transferred to AIDA-America last year as a member of the Transplant Sales Team and to study English. He is now responsible for OEM project management for assigned customer projects within North America.

Wiley Wells was recently hired as Engineering Administrator. He brings over two years of experience as a manufacturing engineer, including in processes and design, to his new position. Wiley now manages the release of engineering drawings and changes, as required to meet both Engineering and Production schedules. He also focuses on maintaining drawing release, drawing control, engineering change, and bill of material integrity.
