Orbital Wrapper Manufacturer Adds Automated Air Recycling System

TAB Wrapper Tornado Reuses Exhaust Air to Keep Cutting Area Clear

Posted: January 18, 2022

The automated air recycling assembly inside a TAB Wrapper Tornado orbital wrapper.

Orbital wrapper manufacturer TAB Industries, LLC, has added its automated air recycling assembly as a standard feature on all of its TAB Wrapper Tornado orbital wrapping machines. Formerly offered as an option, the clever Auto-Cut Exhaust Blower assembly automatically captures and recycles hydraulic exhaust air and directs it towards the cutting blade to prevent any excess stretch wrap from affecting the cutting area. The Auto-Cut Exhaust Blower triggers each time an operator presses the auto-cut button on the wireless or corded remote control to end the wrapping process. The potential for downtime for scrap removal is reduced and the life of the cutting system extended.

Developed to promote peak, uninterrupted wrapping performance, the proprietary system is included with the company’s automated cut and wrap device on the TAB Wrapper Tornado Standard semi-automatic models, automated Smart Controls models, and the fully automated TAB Wrapper Tornado Perfect Storm, at no extra charge. The TAB Wrapper Tornado orbital wrappers automatically wrap plastic film 360 degrees around and under a pallet and its load to create a secure, unitized load ready for transport without boxes, banding, or strapping.

The stretch-wrappers are designed and manufactured in the company’s Reading, Pa. headquarters and ship fully assembled with the Auto-Cut Exhaust Blower assembly installed. The orbital wrapper arrives with a full warranty ready to plug in and operate.
