LeMire Named Chief Executive Officer of RapidAir

RapidAir is pleased to welcome Mark LeMire as the organization’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). RapidAir manufactures and distributes compressed air piping systems to fit all needs, offering complete solutions including filtration, filter regulators, moisture drains, fittings, hose reels and other air compressor accessories. The addition of LeMire to the team empowered founder and former CEO Andy Remus to return to his engineering roots leading product development for RapidAir. In his new role, LeMire provides strategic leadership and day-to-day operational management. Championing optimized customer experiences, LeMire’s core goal is to further cultivate RapidAir’s strong customercentric tenets while delivering valued system solutions in an evolving market. “RapidAir has been in the business of exceeding expectations since the company’s founding in 2007, and has emerged as the leader in quality, affordable compressed air piping systems,” said Mark LeMire, RapidAir CEO. “It is a privilege to lead a team of such dedicated experts into the next chapter. We are committed to the continuation of business growth through new product and support solutions that our customers value.” LeMire brings over 25 years of experience in executive management, organizational design, commercial growth strategy, and new product development. He drives team and financial performance through his expertise evaluating, designing, implementing and managing business structures and processes. LeMire offers a proven ability to strategically partner across all functional areas of the organization, aligning objectives and improving results. Prior to RapidAir, LeMire held leadership positions at Sargent & Greenleaf (S&G), Loma Systems and Buehler (both divisions of ITW). As CEO of S&G, he led the vision, strategy and execution of the combined organization, including add-on acquisitions Delaney Hardware and Premier Steel Door & Frames. As Global Director of Marketing and Product Development for Buehler, he managed and led the product portfolio encompassing market growth strategy, lifecycle management, and new product development. Additionally, LeMire worked 15 years at Parker Hannifin Corp., where he provided engineered solutions through roles of increasing authority in market management, product sales management, and product development. LeMire launched his career as a product design engineer for SMC Pneumatics. LeMire earned an MBA from DePaul University (Chicago, IL) and acquired his undergraduate BS degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University (West Lafayette, IN). In 1992, he was identified as a Certified Fluid Power Specialist from the International Fluid Power Society. LeMire resides in Wausau, WI.
