Lantek Sheet Metal Solutions S.L., developer of CAD/CAM and digital MES and ERP solutions for the sheet metal industry, has solidified its market leadership position following a record turnover of 26.6 million euros over the past three years, increasing sales to the machine tool manufacturer channel by 40 percent during 2021. Headquartered in Basque country, Lantek also exceeded 29,000 active customers worldwide, resulting in 3,400 new customers across 100 countries including North American subsidiary Lantek Systems, Inc., based in Mason, Ohio.
A pioneer in the digitization of sheet metal solutions, Lantek has entered the first phase of its Strategic Expansion Plan which involves a 70 percent increase in its commitment to research and development, including expanding its workforce by 50 percent. The company has already experienced marked growth despite the COVID-19 pandemic with a 42 percent increase in sales volume in Asia, 13 percent in the Americas, and 19 percent in the EMA region. Germany and Italy have experienced significant growth helped with the construction of a new 1,200 m2 building in Turin.
