Steel Fabricator Expands North American Operations with Addition of Alabama Plant
O’Neal Manufacturing Services has opened a 130,000-square-foot custom steel fab center and plans to invest $4 million and create 80 new jobs.

O’Neal Manufacturing Services (OMS) has opened a 130,000-square-foot custom steel fabrication center in West Alabama. The company plans to invest more than $4 million in capital expenditures and bring eighty jobs to the City of Fayette.
O’Neal Manufacturing Services provides quality production and manufacturing redundancy for OEMs engaged in heavy equipment industries such as truck and trailer, agricultural equipment, material handling, and more. The addition of the Fayette, Alabama fabrication facility brings the company’s total North American locations to nine, including their corporate headquarters in Birmingham, AL.
The Fayette plant features robotic and manual welding stations, a beam-cutting line, wet paint booth, press brakes, laser cutting, and saw cutting capabilities to support medium to heavy gauge steel fabrication.
