ESAB is pleased to announce the global launch of a new product website focused on user experience and fabricator education. The site is designed based on user-centric website practices intended to provide the most robust experience for the user, allowing the site to be personalized for each visitor based on their needs and behaviors. The site also includes a vast library of educational content for fabricators from basic welding techniques through in-depth process knowledge.
“Our approach to the new website was driven extensively by research with our global customers, where we heard that not only do they need more concise ways to research our global and regional product offerings, but they also sought more educational content, provided by ESAB University, to help them improve as fabricators,” said Steven Molenda, Senior Director Global Marcom & Marketing Strategies, ESAB.
ESAB University’s library has more than 200 pieces of educational content consisting of videos, articles, blogs, webinars, and courses. The new library features the trainings and videos most requested by customers in the past along with brand new courses and content to address changing demands placed on fabricators. Much of the content is available in up to 15 languages customized for regional demands from around the world. On the new website users will be able to create content playlists, and share content with their peers, and view new trainings and materials as it as added, all thanks to the new features found in ESAB University.
In addition to increased functionality with ESAB University, website users will experience intuitive navigation, robust search and filtering capabilities, personalization, and regionalization which will allow users to research products and make product comparisons.
“With the new website we made a lot of investment into the product pages, allowing users to see 360-images, and make full product comparisons across products to easily determine which product is right for their demands,” stated Molenda. “We know that the demands placed on fabricators in the field and in their facilities are continuing to evolve, and it’s our role as a partner to fabricators to design for those demands and help them make the best decisions for their product investments.”
The new site has been translated and regionalized for 24 countries and languages and is now available.
