FABTECH, North America’s largest metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing event, recently revealed that more than 140 companies will be making their debut as exhibitors at the 2022 event. With nearly 1,200 exhibitors and 400 new products on display, FABTECH is the place where the global fabrication community comes together to meet with world-class suppliers, see the groundbreaking innovations that are moving the industry forward, and find the tools to improve productivity and increase profits. An estimated 30,000 people will attend FABTECH 2022, which runs from November 8-10 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
“Each year, exhibiting companies display the latest manufacturing equipment and advanced solutions—up close and in action—in over 40 different product categories,” said Mark Hoper, FMA senior vice president of media & expositions, FABTECH. “Through interactive demonstrations and an immersive experience, you cannot find anywhere else, FABTECH continues to be the best opportunity for buyers to engage with and invest in the latest technology and find everything needed to compete in today’s changing marketplace.”
FABTECH’s expansive 610,000+ square foot show floor will cover four exhibit halls and feature the leading original equipment manufacturers —including Platinum Sponsors AMADA AMERICA, TRUMPF and MC Machinery Systems Inc / Mitsubishi Laser —demonstrating their products, processes and automated manufacturing solutions. Here are just a few highlights not to miss:
AMADA AMERICA, booth B7109, will demonstrate innovation, automation, and shop floor control and showcase new, eco-conscious manufacturing solutions. AMADA’s 12kW REGIUS 3015 AJ Fiber Laser Cutting System paired with AMS 3015 LL (Linear Loading) Automation is engineered with the world’s fastest linear drive technology and autonomous features to enable continual self-monitoring. Machine and process parameters adjust automatically to the needs of the current cutting operation. Autonomous features enable REGIUS to achieve maximum productivity and cost-effective processing while simplifying machine operation and optimizing utilization. Pairing REGIUS with AMS 3015 LL (Linear Loading) automation further enhances productivity.
TRUMPF will highlight its latest technology, software, and service solutions in booths B6309 and C10973. TRUMPF will introduce the new TruLaser Weld 1000, an automated laser welding machine. This machine is designed to offer companies the benefits of automated laser welding, boosting productivity of production processes to provide a competitive edge. The entry-level system is well-suited for smaller companies, particularly job shops that weld products such as electrical cabinets, sheet metal boxes and covers.
MC Machinery will be showcasing the GX-F ADVANCED artificial intelligence-enabled 12kw and 10kw fiber lasers with the newest laser automation systems in booth B6709, where laser experts will be available to answer questions and provide live demos. The 12kw fiber laser is the newest addition to the Mitsubishi Laser lineup. It will be connected to the SmartFlex Element Type R automation system, while the 10kw GX-F ADVANCED will be connected to the new ASTES4 Skyway High Speed laser sorting system.
With nearly 400 new product introductions, FABTECH attendees will have the opportunity in person to explore cutting-edge technology and emerging trends that are advancing the industry in the areas of fabricating, stamping, tube and pipe, welding, finishing, additive manufacturing, and robotics and industrial automation. This year, FABTECH is excited for the return of many exhibitors to its welding pavilion, which will feature approximately 350 companies, including industry leaders Lincoln Electric, IPG Photonics, FANUC America Corp, OTC DAIHEN Inc, Path Robotics, and Miller Electric Mfg LLC.
FABTECH also offers a multitude of educational conferences and special events designed to appeal to highly diverse audiences.
