Kapco Metal Stamping, part of the Kacmarcik Enterprises family of companies, recently announced Michael Scharinger has joined the company as its Vice President of Manufacturing. In his role, Scharinger will oversee all manufacturing operations for Kapco, one of the country’s largest contract manufacturers of metal parts and components for customers in the industrial, motorsports, military, lighting, warehousing, and energy markets.

Scharinger previously served as the Vice President of Operations for the Vollrath Company in Sheboygan, a leading commercial food service equipment manufacturer. He oversaw nearly 350 employees and manufacturing activities, including human resources, engineering, quality, supply chain, logistics, production, and maintenance.

That experience will help propel Kapco forward as it continues implementing next-gen manufacturing processes and technology across its eight locations in southeastern and northwest Wisconsin.

Mike’s extensive manufacturing knowledge and strong leadership will help us continue on our current growth trajectory and operational goals,” said Hani Malek, Group President. “We take great pride in having a best-in-class team, and Mike is a perfect addition to our talented executive leadership team.”

Kapco Metal Stamping is the Midwest’s premier contract manufacturer of metal components, trusted by some of the world’s biggest brands to make the precision metal parts that bring their products to life. Kapco’s specialties include stamping, fabrication, welding, and other metal fabrication solutions.

“When I think of one word that perfectly summarizes how I feel about joining Kapco, its opportunity,” Scharinger said. “Between our fantastic manufacturing operations team, industry-leading equipment, and an incredible group of customers, the future is bright for Kapco, not just as a manufacturing organization but as a beacon of positive impact in the lives of our employees and our community.”

“Other initiatives, including the Kacmarcik Center for Human Performance, whose mission is to help people achieve their best life, both professionally and personally, are so unique, it solidified my decision to join the organization,” Scharinger said. “I’m proud to be part of the team and excited to deliver results for Kapco, our customers, and the community.”

Kapco has more than 600 team members across eight facilities in Wisconsin, including operations in Grafton, Osceola, St. Croix Falls, Port Washington, and Germantown. With more than 600,000 square feet of manufacturing space across all locations, Kapco is one of the largest contract manufacturers in the nation.
