Greeson Named the Winner of the PCI/Gema 2023 Scholarship

Gema USA Inc., A Graco Inc. Company, is pleased to congratulate Cameron Greeson as the winner of the 2023 PCI/Gema Scholarship. Cameron is studying Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University.  During the past two summers, Cameron has contributed to the powder coating industry though his internships at Schafer Powder Coating Inc., located in Whitestown, Indiana.  Mark Schafer, President of Schafer Powder Coating Inc. stated, “Cameron undertook a comprehensive review of our powder application equipment, delving into the mechanical, electrical and pneumatic functions of the equipment, including the intricacies of the software…The culmination of his work was the recalibration of all application equipment along with a very worthwhile reliability/repeatability study.”  The PCI/Gema Scholarship is an excellent way to recognize and reward aspiring students whom display a strong work ethic and are interested in leveraging their intelligence and curiosity to move our industry forward.  As Schafer states, “Cameron Greeson epitomizes the sort of student the Powder Coating Institute is looking to reward through its scholarship program.”  

Gema is proud to be a part of the PCI Scholarship Program. The Powder Coating Institute (PCI) recently announced the 2023 scholarships going to worthy students who are studying a variety of subjects and interested in careers benefiting the powder coating industry. The criteria for the awards include specific studies and projects relevant to powder coating technology, transcript/GPA, future goals, unique qualifications, and a letter of recommendation from their adviser.
