New Vice President of U.S. and Canada Sales at Mate Precision Technologies
In his new role, Tom Olmscheid will work with the five regional sales managers to support Mate’s growth for the punch press, press brake, workholding and laser consumable product lines.

Mate Precision Technologies, a global leader in metal forming and metalworking solutions, announces it has named sales and business development veteran Tom Olmscheid as its new Vice President of US and Canada Sales. In his new role, Olmscheid will work with the five regional sales managers to support Mate’s growth through direct and indirect sales channels for the punch press, press brake, workholding and laser consumable product lines.
Olmscheid brings nearly 30 years of sales and business development results to Mate Precision Technologies. Previously, Olmscheid was Director of Sales for Aero-Space Fasteners and Electronics, where along with sales responsibilities, he guided the implementation of a cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. As Director of Sales and Marketing at Electri-Cord Manufacturing, he established the company’s Minnesota-based office before managing their US and International sales.
