Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry (WAF) has promoted Aaron Kupsky to Vice President & General Manager of WAF’s Manitowoc foundry. He will succeed current Vice President & General Manager, Gregg Rabe, who is retiring after 36 years of service to WAF. “We are pleased to promote Aaron to this leadership role at our company,” said Sachin Shivaram, WAF CEO. “Since joining WAF, he has been instrumental in our growth by providing oversight of several key projects, including managing day-to-day operations for our recent expansion in Manitowoc. He brings a wealth of knowledge as he assumes his new role.” Shivaram added, “We wish Gregg a long and fun-filled retirement. He has been an invaluable part of our operations team at WAF. We greatly appreciate the hard work he’s put in over the course of his career and we’ll miss seeing him daily.” Rabe is currently working directly with Kupsky as he transitions into his new role. Kupsky joined WAF as Purchasing Manager in 2020 and was promoted to Director of Purchasing and Capital Projects in 2023. Prior to joining WAF, Kupsky spent several years at Kimberly Clark. He has experience in project management and a variety of other operations activities. Aaron was the first recipient of the WAF scholarship for MBA studies, and he recently graduated from St. Norbert College with his MBA.
