NEW SOFTWARE IDENTIFIES EXCESS CAPACITY ON STAND-ALONE LASER CUTTING SYSTEMS, AND AUTOMATICALLY NESTS PARTS

Cincinnati Incorporated offers its new Scheduler software, which identifies excess capacity on stand-alone laser cutting systems, and automatically nests parts for optimum material usage and job turnaround. Applying lean manufacturing principles, the software uses a database of all active part files and prioritizes nesting by part due date. Future-delivery parts are brought in to optimize nests, filling gaps and utilizing excess machine and material capacity.

RECENTLY UPDATED CO2 OPTICS WEBSITE FOR HIGH AND LOW POWER LASERS

Laser Research Optics offers its recently updated website featuring a broad line of CO2 laser optics for OEMs and users of popular industrial and medical laser systems. The Laser Research Optics Website includes a full line of focusing lenses, total and partial reflectors, zero phase shift and partial retardation reflectors, windows, beam splitters and beam combiners, and metal mirrors.

HIGH-PRESSURE WATER DEBURRING

This new cutting technology is gaining wider acceptance in the automotive industry and beyond as a particularly environmentally-friendly process. Here’s why.

MOVING TOWARDS A BETTER WORKPLACE

This new plasma cutting technology for aluminum, stainless steel and other non-ferrous materials saves energy, is more economical and less hazardous to operate than traditional cutting systems.

EIGHT AXIS VMC SERIES OFFERS EXTREME EFFICIENCY

GBI Cincinnati, Inc. offers their Revolution Series of VMCs. With a minimum block processing of 50,000 bps in 8-axis simultaneous applications, the Revolution CV4020 with the MTI constant velocity control is 25 times more efficient than any control on the market today.

HEAVY-DUTY ELECTRIC DRILL UNIT ALLOWS FOR MORE WORK ON PART IN A SINGLE HANDLING

Messer offers their heavy-duty electric drill unit for the TMC4500 ST. An optional drill feature can be combined with normal plasma and oxyfuel cutting, allowing for more work to be done on the piece part in a single handling. All processes are done in the same set-up, providing accurate, feature-to-feature relationships, both within a single piece and from part to part.

NEW CNC DRILL MACHINE OFFERS LOW COST DRILLING SOLUTION

FlexArm offers their CNC Drill Machine, with which drilling, tapping, and chamfering can all be brought in house to lower costs. Programming is fast and easy, no previous CNC knowledge is required. FlexArm?s simple programming has software to calculate hole position, matrix, PCD patterns and skip drilling; no reference manual needed.
